Google Earth
If you have Google earth installed, which is a free download from Google
< from here > you
will be able to see the full set of pictures taken on the walk as well as the
GPS trail of the walk. I have used many of pictures in the webpage's. Though at
times I get a little snap happy so not all make it. To make things easier for me, all the picture
are put on the server and as such get linked to the kmz file.
The GPS trial is also included in the kmz file. I did this in reaction to
Ordnance Survey's response to me asking them if it was okay to insert a small
map. They want £4.75 per map/per year and a minimum of 10 maps. That is even
though this is a non commercial website and I do not make any financial gain
from it.
If you look at the screen shot below you can see the red GPS trial of the route walked. Around the route are thumbnails of the pictures taken on the way round. If you then click on a thumbnail, a larger picture is displayed with further information on it. As you can see on the bottom left of the screen shot. Under this picture it says "Link to original". If you click on this it will bring up the full size picture in your internet browser.
